Its no long tradition in Poland today – only a few years long – we have now Long Weekend, cos 1. May and 3. May R national free-of-work (and still payable ;D) holidays. If U have enough imagine and head over UR shoulder (not in it LOL), U have to so arrange in long line: free days, free obligatory Saturdays and Sundays and mix them with part of payable annual holiday’s days, so a few people have as result payable 7-11 days long vacation – yes, next free time by the summer vacation time…
I know, its amazing to have two payable perods per year, but is polish tradition longer than polish state – we say „Polak potrafi” – Pole has it, Pole uses it! :)
Maybe for U is absurd that 3 days in definition weekend we have possible to expand :) – but if yes, is only UR problem, cos… we R not here now nad we dont know, when we will return LOL – its long weekend!
P.S.I Yesterday was Tax Day – last day to pay taxes for 2007
P.S.II Today is anniversary of EU Re-union, but… who cares, TNX God EU today in pl is so natural as… taxes? LOL
P.S.III Taxes?! ;-0 Dont forget – its Long Weekend :D
